My friends and I really enjoyed it. This DVD is excellent. My favorites were Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, Crazy, Glitter in the Air, Lets get this Party Started, Fun House and all the trapeze bungie jumping, Pink singing upside down while hanging from the silks. I recommend this video because the music and performance by Pink and her crew are great. ITs quite a show to see. What a great performer. Great performance, quite unbeleivable.
So as a remembrance I bought the CD for her and she asbolutely loves the entire recording. After watching Pink hang upside down, Cirque de Soleil style, while singing at the Grammys, I decided to buy this CD for my 20something niece who had watched the tv program with me. Neither of us could get over the blazing talent and fearlessness of that Grammy performances. Plays it every day. Another Pink fan for life.
I have to admit that I started taking notice of Pink because of my grandaughter.but she grows on you. What caught me by surprise is that my "old" man likes her too. Her tunes are catchy and "real". I love her voice and her performances. He never asks me to turn it off and one day I put the dvd on and walked out of the room and when I came back in was surprised because he was sitting there watching it.You know she is really good he tells me. I am sure that appealing to Papas isn't her target audience but just shows you how good she is.thanks Pink.
The uptempo pieces are as enjoyable as the ballads. I was completely entranced by her performance at the Grammys this year and sought out the song she sang while doing her acrobatics. Although Ive seen Pink on the Ellen Degeneres show, I was not really a fan.had none of her CDs and considered her a performer for the younger crowd only. I understand that this CD came from her heartbreak and it is truly an emotional collection. It was hauntingly beautiful. I purchased this CD for that song and the CD has become my favorite go to disc in my car. This woman has a fabulous voice. I am a new "fan."
A little disappointed in some of the slow songs. I love Pink and her brand of music. Probably would have just paid per download of the songs that I knew I liked but I thought the whole album would be better. I don't always associate Pink with slow ballads. But still worth having for the songs that I do like.
